Job Description

About the role:

Join us as our new Senior Process Engineer Fill and Finishing within the Manufacturing Sciences Department and ensure process performances for a recombinant protein during formulation and lyophilization activities.

How you will contribute:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Sciences and Process Validation Manager, you will lead projects related to process improvement and technology transfer from or to other Takeda facilities. You will support manufacturing and quality departments regarding impact assessment, investigation and troubleshooting.

You will:

  • Coordinate of activities across the Fill and Finish group.
  • Lead cross-functional local rapid response related to process as required.
  • Lead Process Validation strategy for projects and coordinate validation activities.
  • Lead process improvement projects or activities including Digitalization projects.
  • Lead and/or support investigations related to deviation/CAPA process.
  • Lead or support technology transfer
  • Identify business opportunities.
  • Own PFMEA and ensure update of the document
  • Ensure process performances through Quality by Design (QbD) and Continuous Process Verification (CPV) approaches.
  • Support or present topic during regulatory inspections.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Fill and Finish area for recombinant protein.
  • Engineering or university degree in biotechnology.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and quality requirements.
  • Proficiency in statistics.
  • Fluent in English and French

Important Considerations:

In this role, you may:

·Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.

·Need to remove all make-up, jewellery, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.

·Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.

·Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers that may require respiratory protection.
