As an intern as International Regulatory Policy and Innovation / Pharmaceutical Legislation and Policy at Takeda in Zurich, you will have the opportunity to tackle real-world business challenges, build valuable connections, engage in many events and activities and receive guidance from experienced mentors as you develop your skills and advance your professional career. The earliest start date for the internship will be March 2026, with an anticipated length of 3-6 months.
Project Outline
- You will be working in our international, friendly Regulatory Policy and Innovation team
- You will be assigned to support a workstream of a major project dealing with Pharmaceutical legislation and policy related tasks, including (but not limited to) EU Biotech Act and EU General Pharmaceutical Legislation
- Using your theoretical and/or practical knowledge of pharmaceutical innovation you will help analyzing pieces of new legislation, plan workflow(s) for the internal awareness campaign, create an internal Q&A tool and take part in team’s general intelligence work and give support to research questions from other functions
- The planned output of the internship will be concrete outputs (documents, workflow, Q&A) of assigned tasks
What you bring to Takeda:
- Curiosity and collaboration skills will ensure you effectively handle your project and make a valuable impact
- Active enrollment at a university or a university of applied sciences or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) in pharmaceutical sciences, preferably in Master’s program
- Using appropriate communication, you will provide updates and reports on your activities, essential for steering your work and integrating into the team
- Must be authorized to work in Switzerland without the need for additional immigration sponsorship, housing allowance or relocation requirements.
- Preferably skills in critical thinking, digital dexterity mindset and skills needed or open to learn, good communication skills, fluency in English (other languages are an advantage). Prior experience in working in a pharmaceutical company would be an asset.
