In this role, you will join ABB Traction's Technical Writing team for 6-12 months in an accessible workplace (physical and digital). The team is responsible for creating technical documentation and operating manuals for ABB Traction products. You will report to the Technical Publication Team Leader and you will take an active role in creating and reviewing technical documentation.

Your responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining technical customer documents in the Schema ST4 editorial system
- Create technical illustrations based on CAD data
- Revise graphics guideline
- Building/expanding a terminology database
- Creating spare parts portfolios
- Editorial work in English, German or other languages
- Technical research on the product
Your background
- Preferred field of study: Technical Editor
- Graphics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- In addition to a strong command of English and German, knowledge of other languages would be advantageous
- Technical communication
- Ability to work in a team
- Technical affinity in linguistically or graphically oriented courses of study
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and editorial systems advantageous
